Farzad Youshanlou - Instructor
Mr Farzad Youshanlou is an experienced Shotokan karate instructor under the World Karate Federation. A competent and caring person, he has many years of experience in personal training for students from absolute beginners to professionals.
He was born in 1971 in the town of Anzali , which is by the Caspian Sea in Iran . At the age of 10, he began karate training under the instruction of Sensei Sharifi (7th Dan JKA), Sensei Jamsheed (7th Dan ITKF), Sensei Shirpanjeh, and Sensei Tavilli (5th Dan JKA). ( Dan indicates award levels within the JKA or Japanese Karate Association.)
Later, Sensei Farzad was a member of the Iran Karate Team (World Karate Federation), the Iran student team in a 1993 Budapest competition, and the Iranian Navy Club. Throughout the years, he has trained with many Shotokan masters, including Senseis Yahara, Abe, Kawasoe, Osaka, and Enoeda.
In 2001, he immigrated to England and became a member of the Sasori Club KUGB ( Karate Union of Great Britain).
In addition to his dedication to and background in karate, he has a university degree in veterinary science.
Farzad is also a personal trainer and fitness instructor graduated from Kensington College.
